Good News
Last night we made a ton of progress. We got the AC mounted up, got the radiator installed, got all the cooling hooked up and the shifter cable for the transmission. Now it’s here:
Bad News
I’m a dumb ass and when I was pulling the radiator/ac condenser out of the Jeep, I cut one of the condenser lines thinking it was the old radiator. So … guess who gets to buy a new condenser today??
Other bad news, or, not really bad news but currently an “unknown”: We are having issues figuring out the speed sensor on the np242. Where we think that the sensor should go is currently plugged. We’re thinking that we could just pop the plug out of the hole but I want to confirm that’s going to work before I go poking holes in my transfer case.
The goal tonight is to get it running. That can be done without a speed sensor. I’m going down to get an AC condenser during lunch and then I just need some red silicone for the transmission and we should be able to get it running.
