Finally got around to getting the Jeep running. We had 2 days in a row over 50 so it was nice to be outside.
Thing purrs like a kitten. No knocking, no weird noises, holds temps perfectly. Now … if only I could drive it. Someone we lost one of the c-clips in the rear diff that holds the axle in so I had to order replacements. Luckily they were only $2 so it’s not that big of a deal. Glad I got it running because I need to be able to tow the trailer by Friday to buy siding for the house.
Note: do not paint the area of the thermostat housing where the hose connects. Got some overspray on it and it caused the hose to slide off while it was running. Not a fun experience at all. But all good now.
