It’s been a little while for an update because I’ve been trying to track down the vibrations in the Jeep. However, my dad and I were driving around going to garage sales looking for some tools and the Jeep kept getting heat soak issues so bad it barely ran at one point.
This made me come to the conclusion that fuel injectors should be the next attempt. So I ordered some 4 hold re manufactured injectors and so far the problem has completely gone away. I assume the little heat shield hasn’t done much, although it was preventing the heat soak for shorter drives. Tonight I’ll be able to confirm that the injectors were the fix as I’m going a longer distance with the Jeep.
I also have new O2 sensors and fog lights I need to get installed. The little Craftsman mower I bought has been being a pain in my ass as of recently and distracting me from my Jeep. Hopefully we can get the mower resolved this week so I can get more done to the Jeep.
